To the infallible beat of an image every two seconds, on board an express train, 8000 photos are recorded and so join Paris and Marseille, two iconic and evocative towns of the French territory.
“Paris – Marseilles” allows us to grasp such a topographic and transversal section of France, a space consisting of rural zones, sometimes untouched by the passing of time, urban landscapes in perpetual recomposition, of temporary vacant lots, of artificial embankments, of bridges, of tunnels, of motorways....
Understood as a sensitive experience of the world, “Paris – Marseille” stalks a reality beyond that which can be identified through the eyes of a traveller.
